Things Accomplished since Day of Firing

Friday, March 30:

• My friend Tina, a self-described "Tarotista" gave me a tarot reading. It was good, definitely gave me some food for thought. 
  
• Began work on "Celebrate, eSe" postcard for eSe Teatro. 
• Looked through Craigslist - began compiling a list of jobs I might apply for.
• Met Catherine (one of my XX 2.0 henchladies for coffee to DEBRIEF and help her clarify how she might go forward in my absence.
• Met Ian for drinks/dinner at Charlie's.

Saturday, March 31:

• Finished up changes on "Celebrate eSe" postcard
  
• Met with Joy for brunch at Varsity Inn to get more info on collecting unemployment insurance
  
• Diablos dance rehearsal (Satan's dance camp!) for eSe Teatro at El Centro
  
• Dinner with Ian at Pecado Bueno
  

Sunday, April 1:

• Satan's Dance Camp at Kimball Elementary
  
• The Bridge rehearsal at Youngstown 
  
• Sushi with Ian at Sushi Land
  

Monday, April 2: 

• Applied for Unemployment Insurance
• BNI Lunch meeting at Best Western on Taylor
  
• It's Not Really Suicide Is It? Rehearsal at NSCC
  

Tuesday, April 3:

• Organized and rearranged computer desktop
  
• Searched Craigslist
  
• The Bridge Rehearsal at Youngstown
  

Wednesday, April 4:

• Applied for "Visual Designer" job (resume/cover letter)
  
• Did three loads of laundry!
  
• Made Bed!
• Lunch with Ian at Chiso
  

Thursday, April 5:

• Photo shoot for FREE HEADSHOTS in Olympia
  
• Caught CaroBlog up to present
  
• It's Not Really Suicide Is It? Rehearsal in Kirkland
  

Wow - it's good to see an itemized list - proving I really have been quite productive over the past 7 days. I vow to continue doing so from today onward, and opening myself up to opportunity and possibility however it decides to present itself. I am so blessed now, as compared with last time around (unemployment circa 2008/9): the network of people in my life is so much larger, the job market itself is healthier, I have a greater variety of skills to draw on and now there's a crazy cat and an intense boy in my life. And most important of all, my brain is in a better place...I no longer feel inadequate and useless. There is some floundering in my absence.
