You, Me and The Postapocalypse: A Canticle for End Times

I set this blog up recently, purely as a fan of this type of fiction. I was in a writing class and the instructor asked us to think about those topics we could talk about ad nauseam, without ever getting bored, and this was it for me...and the more I thought about it, the more excited I got, and then I started talking about it on Twitter, and I found other folks who were obsessed with the topic as well who welcomed me in and actually looked at the blog! It's still new and I'm still learning, but below are the first three.

eSe Teatro:

I volunteered for a year as eSe Teatro's Marketing Coordinator and tried to get varying points of view and guest articles from other eSe staff as well as guest artists - below are a few posts I wrote:

Should I Audition for Book-It Generals?

Call For Submissions: Deadline 3/15

The Rundown: Audition Workshop with Valerie Curtis-Newton & Andrew Russell

Our First Workshop: Inspiring and Fun!

Stone Soup Theatre:

I set up the Stone Soup Theatre blog in 2011, with the intent that we'd post not only press releases and show dates and such - but also get into the bones of each production, from inception to closing night, and really delve into some of the parts that make a show a show: rehearsals, play submission processes, designer/director points of view, cast showcases and interviews, etc, with guest blogs from people involved in the shows, rather than just always from my point of view as the PR/Marketing Coordinator. Looking back, I realize I achieved that, having solicited guest bloggers amongst the varied members of each production's company, at least for the rest of my time there. Below is a sampling of articles I wrote myself.

Causality:

I was one of the series regulars on this web series, and was invited to write a guest article. The series is set in Seattle's present and immediate past (and my character came from far in the future!), with the desire to highlight the city and those things which make it unique.
